Clinical nutrition is concerned with therapeutic uses for nutrition, usually in medical settings, as part of a complete health care program. Clinical Nutritionists create effective nutrition plans aimed at disease prevention and treatment, strengthening of the immune system, and nourishment of the body.

- Successful completion of the 10+2 level of education in the Science stream, completed from a recognized university.
- A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) at the 10+2 level.
