What is NTA?

NTA refers to the National Testing Agency, established in 2018. It is the conducting body for various national-level exams for admission to UG, PG, and PhD courses. It is also responsible for releasing the notification, specifying the eligibility, application procedure, NTA mock tests, etc. Candidates appearing for any of the mentioned exams must be aware of the pattern of the exam related to all the events, along with the other details like the mode of the exam, the duration for which it is conducted and the programmes offered under each field.

NTA 2026 Application Form - Steps and Registration Process

NTA has released the JEE Main application form on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. The authority will conduct separate registration for NEET, UGC NET and other exams. The application dates and fees also differ for each exam. However, the NTA application form 2026 filling process is similar for most of the exams. Below are the steps to submit the NTA exam 2026 application

Step 1: Fill Application Form- The common website to access the application form of NTA 2026 exams is- www.nta.ac.in. Now, select the respective exam to access the application forms. Initially, candidates have to register for the exam with their personal details like name, mobile number, email ID and more. Then, log in with the computer-generated registration ID and password to fill out the application form. Candidates should fill in the correct details in the NTA application form and proceed to the next step.

Step 2: Upload the documents - After filling in all the necessary and asked details in the NTA 2026 application form, upload the scanned copy of the required documents such as a photograph, signature and educational documents. Make sure the documents are in the mentioned format and size.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee - After submitting the details in the NTA exam 2026 application form, candidates need to pay the application fee. The application process won’t be considered completed without the fee.

Step 4: Print Confirmation Page - The last step is to download the confirmation page after submitting the NTA 2026 application form

NTA 2026 Admit Card

The National Testing Agency will issue the admit card of the NTA exam 2026 on the entrance exams’ official website. Candidates should have their registration ID or application number and password to download the hall ticket. The NTA admit card 2026 is a necessary document that all candidates should bring while appearing for the NTA 2026 exam.

NTA 2026 Answer Key

Generally, within a week after conducting the NTA exam, the authorities will release the answer key. These NTA answer keys are helpful in checking the correct answer of all the questions asked in the exam. Candidates will be able to calculate their expected scores with the help of the NTA answer key 2026.

NTA 2026 Result

NTA JEE Main 2026

NTA will conduct JEE Main 2026 as a computer-based test (CBT) for admissions to various undergraduate engineering programmes like B.Tech/ B.E., B.Arch and B.Plan at IITs, NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Main exam dates 2026 for session 1 are January 22 to 31, 2026 and session 2 are April 1 to 8, 2026. Candidates can appear in either of the sessions or in both as per their wish. Candidates are required to check the eligibility criteria and then submit the application form on or before the deadline. NTA NEET 2026

NEET is conducted by NTA in offline mode for admissions to 78,748 M.B.B.S., 26,949 B.D.S., 52,720 AYUSH and 525 B.VSc & AH seats offered in respective medical colleges. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is conducted in the first week of May every year, for which the application procedure starts in December. Candidates should cover the complete NTA syllabus to qualify for the exam with good scores. NTA releases the admit card of NEET in March for the registered candidates. The entrance exam is followed by the release of the NTA answer key, response sheet and result. Qualified candidates are then required to appear for NEET counselling for further procedure of admission.

NTA CMAT

Common Management Admission Test, also known as CMAT is a national-level postgraduate entrance exam pertaining to all management programmes that is conducted by NTA generally in the third week of May. It is an online (computer-based) exam of 3 hours comprising multiple-choice objective questions. The application procedure starts from the last week of March and NTA Admit card will be released in the first week of May. Candidates applying for it must submit the application form before the deadline. NTA releases the question paper along with the candidate’s response after the conclusion of the exam followed by the scorecard.

NTA UGC NET

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts UGC NET to test the eligibility of candidates as Assistant Professors and to award Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The exam is conducted as a computer based test (CBT) twice a year, in June and December. The exam consists of two papers. UGC NET Paper 1 is common and same for all candidates. UGC NET Paper 2 is subject-based and is based on the subject chosen by the candidates.

NTA NCHMCT JEE

NTA conducts NCHMCT JEE as a computer-based test in the fourth week of April for admission to undergraduate courses in hospitality. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria and then proceed to fill the application form which will be available from January. The answer key will be released in the first week of May followed by the NTA result in the second week.

NTA CUET UG

NTA conducts the Common University Entrance Test for UG programmes. The CUET UG exam will be conducted in pen and paper as well as computer-based mode. The number of subject selections in the CUET UG has been reduced from 10 to 6. The CUET UG exam includes three domain subjects, 2 languages, and a general test.

NTA CUET PG

The National Testing Agency conducts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission in postgraduate programmes offered by the participating colleges. The CUET PG exam will be held in CBT mode. CUET PG examination will be conducted for different postgraduate streams such as engineering, science, commerce, arts, agriculture, etc. Through CUET PG candidates will get admission to institutes like University of Hyderabad, Delhi University, Nalanda University, Pondicherry University, TISS, and Nalanda University.

NTA NCET

National Testing Agency will conduct the National Common Entrance Test (NCET) for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) offered by the participating Universities/Institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges.
